Zlatan Ibrahimovic Sends Signals to Manchester United

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the current LA Galaxy striker, is willing to go back to England and help his former team Manchester United. The Red Devils are in not such a great condition, as they struggle since the start of the season.

Ibrahimovic who spent two seasons in United saw the current problems his previous club is facing with, and sent a strong message to the English powerhouse.

“I could play easy in the Premier League, so if United need me, I’m here,” he said. “But Galaxy has me, so I’m sorry.

Despite his age, the Swedish international still has confidence in his abilities. But that is something characteristic of him.

Even though he stated that the Galaxy is his current club, Zlatan no doubt revealed his secret wishes and hinted the English team to react. The striker told the reporters that he follows Manchester United’s games and that he saw the most recent loss against Crystal Palace.

“I look, I look, I look,” he added. “I saw the last game, and I think they were unlucky. If they score the penalty, it’s a different game, but a game in England is not finished until its finished.”

United not only had a penalty missed by Paul Pogba but was also dominant throughout the entire match. After the equalizer in the first minute of the stoppage time, Solskjaer’s guys allowed a dagger which silenced more than 75 thousand spectators at the Old Trafford.

Ibra then mentioned the fact that he doesn’t know what will happen after the end of his contract. The current deal he has with LA Galaxy is valid until December 31. After that, he is a free player and can continue his career anywhere.

“My deal is until December 31. What happens afterwards I don’t know,” Zlatan said.

One of the best strikers of all times will for sure have a lot of options at the table. Even at 37 years of age, he is still lethal as ten years ago and would be a huge addition for any club.

In 49 matches played for Galaxy, Zlatan netted 46 times. Some of his goals were amazing and are still appearing in various highlights. In the recent El Trafico, he scored twice once again preventing the most dominant team in the MLS LAFC, to defeat Galaxy.

All this might be the reason why he already started giving signals to United. During his time there Ibra won EFL Cup FA Community Shield, and UEFA Europa League. During his first season, he played 46 games and scored 28 goals, but he missed the bigger part of the next year due to injuries.

Right now, the Red Devils have all sorts of problems, and among them is the lack of strikers. After departing Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan, United has only Marcus Rashford Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood upfront. In case someone gets injured, it is a massive issue for Solskjaer.

Getting Ibrahimovic would make the rotation much more flexible and more lethal.

But in order to see that, United has to make a move.
