Antonio Brown Can’t Wait For Adversities to Go Away and Start Playing

Antonio Brown told the media yesterday that he expects his feet troubles to go away soon, and that afterwards, his speed will be even greater.

Brown is in the middle of the attention in recent days. The Oakland Raiders wide receiver is on the front page of all the media for various reasons. First, it was his injury, after that the helmet problem. Now again, the issues regarding his feet emerged to the surface.

Instead of preparing with the team for the upcoming campaign, AB is resting because he can’t run properly. He didn’t follow the instructions for cryotherapy and because of that, now has to delay the practices and stay off his feet as much as possible.

Frostbites appeared because the player went to the cryo chamber without footwear needed for those types of situation. Now, his skin is removing piece by piece, and he can’t play. But that didn’t affect his mood. Brown kept his positive attitude and share that with his fan.

“My feet are pretty much getting circumcised, right?” AB told the reporters. “Hopefully, my feet are born again, and I frickin’ can run faster. “

He also added that he doesn’t want for anyone to feel sorry for him.

“Feel sorry for me later. Thank you.”

He also explained the entire case and also stated that now he feels ok, due to doctor’s intervention.

“The doctor came over, drained a little out. Scalpel the next day, frickin’ scissors the next day, and just kind of let it leak all out. So, as everything leaked all out, I was able to put a lot of pressure.”

Rith now, Brown can’t endure a 100% training session, but has specific exercises which will keep him fresh and ready when he re-enters the preseason mode.

According to Jon Gruden, the biggest addition to the Raiders roster probably won’t play until the end of the preseason. There is a possibility for him to appear in the last test against the Seattle Seahawks on the road, but that is not sure. He won’t participate definitely in the next two against the Arizona Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers.

The player’s agent Drew Rosenhaus stated that there might be some legal actions against the cryotherapy lab. He didn’t explain why, and whether is their fault for not warning the player about his responsibilities.

Another issue Brown experienced recently was resolved. Everybody knows that he didn’t want to accept the new rules of the NFL regarding the helmets and that he filed a grievance against the league, demanding the right to wear his old piece of equipment, which he had for 10 years.

AB found a newer model of the helmet and appeared at the training camp with it.

“I’m extremely grateful to be here,” Brown said. “Been dealing with a lot of adversity.

The Raiders’ fans are eager to see the player on the court, especially after all these troubles. When is that going to happen, nobody is sure.
